Flyer, a leading provider of software and services for the global financial services industry, is seeking a talented Sales Executive for the wealth management and hedge fund marketplace.

As a Sales Executive, you will advocate Flyer’s products and services to wealth managers, hedge funds, broker-dealers and technology providers in the marketplace. You will champion our products and services to help make your prospects more productive and efficient. You feel comfortable handling a complex, sophisticated and involved sales process. You are capable of selling into all of the different areas in the client’s decision process from technology, mid office through to the trading desk. You understand what is driving each participants need for our products and recognize how Fix Flyer can make a difference to the firm’s bottom line.

The ideal candidate will be a key participant through the entire sales process by understanding the wealth management, hedge fund, and broker-dealer industry. The candidate must understand the financial eco-system including the vendor landscape, the client’s technical requirements, competitive drivers in the marketplace and market pressures that create opportunities for our products The work requires understanding of prospect requirements, and managing customer relationships to ensure successful delivery of product presentations. The role’s primary focus is lead generation and sales pipeline management including significant collaboration with marketing, product management, client implementation, and account management to be effective in this role.

Primary responsibilities

Build a strategic plan to generate, develop and close business opportunities
Actively prospect and hunt for new clients, qualify opportunities and escalate through the sales pipeline process.
Drive business growth and overachieve business goals by leading prospects through a sales cycle in collaboration with product management, operations and engineering
Understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
Develop and provide custom presentations & demonstrations on Flyer’s products and services to solve their business needs
Act as subject matter expert on FIX Flyer’s wealth management, hedge fund and broker-dealer solutions

Basic qualifications

Successful 5+ year sales experience with an proven track record in reaching and exceeding quotas in the wealth management, hedge fund or broker-dealer market
BA/BS degree in related fields, such as engineering, computer science or finance

Desired qualifications

5+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: portfolio reporting, portfolio rebalancing, trade order management systems, FIX networks, and FIX protocol
Working knowledge of front, middle and back office workflow
Extremely proactive and organized with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Working experience in international markets
Fluency in Spanish a plus
